2. Nature of Our Services

GeldInzicht provides personal financial coaching, budget planning, savings strategies and goal-based financial planning. Our services are educational and advisory in nature.

Important: GeldInzicht is not a licensed financial institution, credit provider, investment adviser or tax adviser under Dutch financial supervision law (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft). Our coaching does not constitute regulated investment advice, tax advice or legal advice. You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions. For regulated advice on investments, mortgages, insurance or tax matters, we recommend consulting a licensed adviser.

3. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and over who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Dutch law. By engaging our services, you confirm that the information you provide about your financial situation is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

4. Coaching Agreement and Engagement

A coaching agreement is formed when you book a session or program and we confirm it in writing (by email). Each engagement includes:

• An intake session to assess your financial situation and goals;
• A personalized budget or savings plan delivered within an agreed timeframe;
• Scheduled check-in sessions as described in your chosen program;
• Access to our client dashboard for the duration of the program.

GeldInzicht will perform its services with reasonable care and professionalism but does not guarantee specific financial outcomes, as results depend on individual circumstances and client commitment.

5. Pricing and Payment

Current pricing is published on our pricing page. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• An intake session starts at €75;
• Our full three-month coaching program costs €395;
• All prices are in euros and include applicable VAT;
• Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.

If payment is not received within the agreed term, we may suspend further sessions and dashboard access until outstanding amounts are settled. Statutory commercial interest (wettelijke handelsrente) and collection costs may apply to late payments in accordance with Dutch law.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time;
• Cancellations within 24 hours of a session, or non-attendance, may be charged in full;
• You may terminate a coaching program in writing at any time; fees for sessions already delivered remain due;
• If GeldInzicht must cancel a session, it will be rescheduled at no cost to you or, at your request, refunded.

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal under Dutch law (Article 6:230o BW): you may cancel a distance agreement within 14 days of conclusion without giving reasons. If you have expressly requested that services begin during this period, you pay only for services already delivered, proportionally.

7. Client Responsibilities

To receive effective coaching, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information about your income, expenses and debts;
• Never share banking login credentials with us or ask us to access your accounts;
• Attend scheduled sessions or reschedule them in a timely manner;
• Implement agreed actions and inform us promptly of significant financial changes.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

GeldInzicht treats all client information as strictly confidential. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (Uitvoeringswet AVG). Details on how we collect, use and protect your data are set out in our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your data or share it with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including texts, budget templates, planning tools, graphics, the GeldInzicht name and logo — is the property of GeldInzicht and protected by copyright. Personal plans and materials prepared for you may be used for your own private purposes but may not be resold, republished or distributed commercially without our written consent.

10. Website Use

When using this website, you agree not to:

• Use the site for unlawful purposes or in a way that could damage or impair it;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data;
• Copy, scrape or systematically extract website content without permission;
• Submit false, misleading or harmful content through our forms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law:

• GeldInzicht's website and services are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of specific outcomes;
• GeldInzicht is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost savings opportunities, investment losses or business losses;
• GeldInzicht's total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question, with a maximum of €500;
• Liability exclusions do not apply in cases of intent (opzet) or gross negligence (bewuste roekeloosheid) and do not limit statutory consumer rights.

12. Third-Party Tools and Links

We may recommend budgeting apps or other third-party tools. These are operated by independent providers under their own terms and privacy policies. GeldInzicht is not responsible for the availability, content or practices of third-party services.

13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us first at info@geldinzicht.com so we can work toward a resolution. We respond to complaints within 14 days. Consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. This agreement is governed by Dutch law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent court in the district where GeldInzicht is established, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

GeldInzicht may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The version applicable to your coaching agreement is the version in force at the time the agreement was concluded, unless a more favorable updated version applies. Continued use of this website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
